Bedlington Terrier Rescue Information: The Bedlington Terrier is a cute little breed that resembles a lamb! Despite appearances, Bedlington Terriers are scary in a fight with another dog so should be socialized with animals from an early age and kept away from those that tend to dominate. Bedlington Terriers are playful, affectionate, and good with children. Bedlington Terriers are willful but loyal. Bedlington Terriers love to chase things and can run very fast; they can get away easily if let off their leash in an open area. Bedlington Terriers can live in apartments but will get into mischief if they do not have vigorous daily exercise and attention.

Bedlington Terrier Trivia: Bedlington Terriers were popular dogs with gypsy nailmakers. Bedlington Terriers are disproportionately affected by copper toxicosis, an excess of copper in the liver. Bedlington Terriers are excellent water dogs.
